FluxSense Measurement Consultant

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

FluxSense Inc is the daughter company of FluxSense AB – Sweden with its headquarters located in Huntington Beach. We specialize in emissions quantification, leak detection, concentration mapping and air quality monitoring. In addition to our flagship measurement technique, Solar Occultation Flux (SOF), we utilize Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy and differential optical absorption spectroscopy (DOAS) to provide our services within the industries of oil and gas, refining, petrochemical and agricultural. Furthermore, we produce and support fully customized mobile laboratories and fixed continuous monitoring stations.

POSITION: Measurement Consultant (full time)

We are looking to add a highly dynamic individual to our team as a measurement consultant. This is a multidisciplinary role that entails the following:

  • Installing and servicing air monitoring instrumentation and equipment
  • Supporting and training clients in instrument operation, measurement techniques and data analysis
  • Participating in measurement field campaigns with semi-frequent travel (~ 20%) within the US and occasionally overseas
  • Data analysis and reporting

REQIREMENTS

  • Ph.D. or M.S. in related STEM field
  • Hands-on experience operating and maintaining analytical instrumentation
  • Effective communication, critical thinking and problem solving ability
  • Possess or be able to obtain a US passport and driver’s license
  • Lift objects up 50lbs
