Title: Andromeda, a zero emission Antarctic station and the University of the Antarctic

Abstract: Alain Hubert is a Belgian Explorer, founder of the International Polar Foundation, who built in association with industrial partners the first zero emissions station in Antarctica, named Princess Elisabeth Antarctica (PEA) station. In this presentation, Alain will discuss PEA and the new project of Andromeda which will host an Earth Observatory and the first University in Antarctica.

The Department of Earth System Science acknowledges our presence on the ancestral and unceded territory of the Acjachemen and Tongva peoples, who still hold strong cultural, spiritual and physical ties to this region.
