Professor Guðrún Magnúsdóttir is interested in
atmospheric and climate dynamics. In her work she uses observations as
well as a hierarchy of numerical models to study dynamical processes in
the atmosphere, and climate variability. Dr. Magnúsdóttir has a B.S. in
Physics from the University of Iceland, an MS in Atmospheric Radiation
and a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Dynamics from Colorado State University. |
Chia-chi Wang is a post doctoral researcher. She is
interested in tropical dynamics, especially the intraseasonal
Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), its stability and interactions
with westward propagating disturbances and the MJO. She has
a B.S. and an M.S. in Atmospheric Science from The National Taiwan
University and a Ph.D. (and MS) in Earth System Science from the
University of California, Irvine. |
Yi-Hui Wang is a PhD student in
Earth System Science. Her PhD project involves the Arctic climate
system. She has a B.S. in atmospheric science from the National Taiwan
University. |
Courtenay Strong is a postdoctoral researcher. His PhD
is from the University of Virginia. He is working on the Rossby wave breaking project. |
