How to Calculate Solar Angle?
qSolar angle = 90° - (solar zenith angle)
qSolar angle = (90° - latitude of the location) + solar declination
qExample for Toronto (located at 44°N)
q     In spring equinox (March 21)
q          solar declination = 0°
q          solar angle = (90° - 44°) + 0° = 46°
q     In summer solstice (June 21)
q          solar declination = 23.5°
q          solar angle = (90° - 44°) + 23.5° = 69.5°
q     In winter solstice (December 21)
q          solar declination = -23.5°
q          solar angle = (90° - 44°) + (-23.5°) = 22.5°
