MAESTRO:     Co-Investigator (2001- ) – MAESTRO (Measurement of Aerosol Extinction in the Stratosphere and Troposphere Retrieved by Occultation):  A UV-visible satellite instrument to measure occulted sunlight in order to derive stratospheric profiles of O3, NO2, and aerosol extinction; flying on SCISAT-1 since August 2003.  (with Canadian Space Agency, University of Toronto, University of Waterloo)

 

MANTRA:       Science Team Member (1999- ) – MANTRA (Middle Atmosphere Nitrogen TRend Assessment):  An on-going series of stratospheric balloon missions to investigate the nitrogen budget of stratosphere; flown in 1998, 2000, 2002, and 2003 (upcoming).  (with University of Toronto, Canadian Space Agency, York University, University of Denver)

 

OSIRIS:           Science Team Member (1997- ) – OSIRIS (Optical Spectrograph and Infra-Red Imager System):  A UV-visible satellite instrument measuring sunlight scattered from Earth’s limb to derive stratospheric profiles of O3 and NO2; flying since February 2001 on the Odin satellite.  (with University of Saskatchewan, Canadian Space Agency, York University, University of Toronto)
