Helpful Hints for Transfer Students

  • Start early preparing for your transfer!
  • Work with your current college advisor to create a course plan that includes as many UC transferable units as possible. Visit ASSIST to see how course credits earned at one public California college or university can be applied when transferred to another.
  • Do your best to maintain a competitive GPA.
  • Make sure you meet all application deadlines. Give yourself enough time to correct any unexpected problems. Deadlines cannot be extended.
