Transfer Requirements for the School of Physical Sciences
- Meet all basic UC admission requirements with a minimum grade of C or better
- Have a cumulative UC transferable GPA of 3.0 (3.4 for TAG)
- Complete 60 semester or 90 quarter units of UC transferable credit by the end of the spring term prior to the fall quarter of enrollment
Additional Requirements for the Bachelor of Science in Earth System Science
- Complete one year of general chemistry with laboratory (preferred) or one year of calculus-based physics with laboratory with a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Complete one year of approved calculus
Additional Requirements for the Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science & Policy
- Have a cumulative UC transferable GPA of 3.0 (3.4 for TAG)
- Complete one course in statistics equivalent to UCI's STATS 7 with a grade of 2.5 or better

- Work with your current college advisor to create a course plan that includes as many UC transferable units as possible. Visit ASSIST to see how course credits earned at one public California college or university can be applied when transferred to another.

- Check out our Undergraduate Opportunities page and apply for an internship or research position. These experiences will help prepare you for our majors.
- Do your best to maintain a competitive GPA.
- Make sure you meet all application deadlines. Give yourself enough time to correct any unexpected problems. Deadlines cannot be extended.
