The Principal Planner or Senior Planner will work under the supervision of the Executive Director of Planning & Natural Resources. This position will manage the District’s environmental compliance for the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and related environmental laws and regulations. Responsibilities will include preparation of environmental documentation such as Environmental Impact Reports to comply with CEQA and related environmental laws and regulations.
Responsibilities may also include participating in regional programs with a wide range of stakeholders and regulatory agencies that develop environmental programs and watershed plans, managing cooperative efforts to enhance water resources, project planning, and project management.
