We are so excited to announce the launch today of the second annual Greenhouse Initiative!  In partnership with The Ecology Center, The Greenhouse Initiative engages student social entrepreneurs who are working on purposeful business ideas on their campus and in their communities that aim to make the world a better place.  Beginning today, Friday, November 9 and running through Sunday, December 9th, college students nationwide are encouraged visit www.sambazon.com and submit a short video on any sustainability initiative, new or existing, they would like to implement or evolve on their college campus. Four lucky students or student groups will each be chosen to receive a $4,000 grant, a 2019 spring semester mentorship and an exciting year-end trip to the Sustainable Brands Conference in Detroit next June 2019!

My partners and I started Sambazon in 2000 because we wanted to change the world.  As a triple bottom line company, we firmly believe that investing in the next generation of social entrepreneurs will help us transform our world for the better.  The Greenhouse Initiative is our way to pay it forward and help and support these young changemakers working to make a difference.

If you know of any college students who are working on sustainability projects on their campus, or have friends that know any, please be sure to spread the word of this exciting program we are proud to support.
