Developing a parameterization to quantify the effects of mountain glaciers on the global hydrologic cycle. Climate change has created drastic changes in water stored in the Earth's mountains, and analyzing output from global climate models can show how these changes will impact runoff, groundwater recharge, and freshwater availability across the globe.
