The Department of Earth System Science at UC Irvine is recruiting a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the area of atmospheric chemistry. We welcome applicants in all areas of atmospheric chemistry, including development and deployment of field instrumentation, detection and transformations of trace gases and aerosols, remote sensing, and modeling.  Candidates should complement the Department's existing strengths in atmospheric chemistry, ecosystems, climate and global change. Candidates are expected to develop an active research program, and to teach and direct research at the undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels.
