Category II: Science and Technology
Any three courses selected from Earth System Science 1, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 15, 17 or H90 -
Category VIII: International / Global Issues
Earth System Science 15, 17
Undergraduate courses (ESS 1-199) emphasize an understanding of the basic science involved in global change of the Earth's atmosphere, oceans, biosphere and soils.
Graduate core courses (ESS 200-399) provide incoming graduate students with a comprehensive overview of Earth System Science through the application of physics, chemistry and biology to the study of the interacting ocean, atmosphere, land, and climate systems.
