Yes. If you enroll in an EarthSS lecture, you must enroll in a discussion section. Attendance at EarthSS discussion sections are either mandatory or voluntary on a class by class basis. To find out how the discussion sections for your particular class will be handled, please refer to the syllabus, or contact the instructor.
