Sierra Institute Programs - UC Davis Extension
Beginning this summer, the Sierra Institute will have a new home at UC Davis Extension. For nearly 40 years, the Sierra Institute has given students the opportunity to complete a portion of their college work with rivers and mountains as the classroom. Exploration geophysics research at The Jackson School of Geosciences is conducted within the Department of Geological Sciences as well as at both of the school’s major research units, The Bureau of Economic Geology and The Institute for Geophysics.
